String beans with pork, ginger & red chile from Small Victories: Recipes, Advice + Hundreds of Ideas for Home-Cooking Triumphs (page 103) by Julia Turshen

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Love this. Crave it. Serve over rice. My friends and son love it, too. On regular rotation

I made this in a wok. Had a hard time getting the green beans to cook through (they needed twice as much time), but maybe more oil would help next time. I was worried it would be bland so I added a heaping tbsp of Laoganma black beans in chili oil, which made this awesome. We couldn't get enough of the crispy pork bits.

I made this in my wok and it felt like something I had ordered in a restaurant (unlike many of my other attempts to stir fry). Really delicious.

Perhaps not as complex in flavour as other recipes of its type but still good, and very quick to make. I served it with brown rice as suggested.
