Sausage and ricotta meatballs from Small Victories: Recipes, Advice + Hundreds of Ideas for Home-Cooking Triumphs (page 171) by Julia Turshen

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is one of 2 variations given for her turkey & ricotta meatballs and I used sausage that my butcher calls “sweet with heat”. Julia basically says “everything stays the same other than sausage in place of turkey”, but I used far less salt (as sausage meat typically has tons of seasoning) and I baked them on ungreased parchment. We both LOVED them with marinara served open faced on cheesy garlic toasts. I will for sure make these again.
