Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This cake was.... meh? It baked up just fine with a good texture, but looked nothing like the picture. It was not nearly as browned/caramelized on the edges of the cake and the ratio of apple to batter was way off (far too much apple). It also... was bland. No lemon, vanilla, spices... I guess I just am not sure if it's worth tweaking to try it again.
