Almond domes (Bethmännchen) from Classic German Baking: The Very Best Recipes for Traditional Favorites, from Pfeffernüsse to Streuselkuchen (page 236) by Luisa Weiss

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Half-recipe with leftover almond paste from biberle! Very cute..

Fairly quick and easy to make, just takes some effort to mix almond paste by hand. I found it easier to roll the balls with dry hands vs wet, but a little wetness would have helped the almond halves stick. My cookies took 13 min to bake to light golden, which was possibly a minute too long. Note the recipe says to prepare 1 baking sheet, but bake 2, but you will only need 1.
