    What a lovely mix of sweet and savory. I made it in the cheddar crust from this book and used two Opals and three Granny Smiths. Would cut back on the brown sugar next time for personal preference and probably try with apple cider. We really loved it.

    Yum! Perfect for a fall dinner party. The recipe didn’t say to peel the apples but I assumed I should. Made with 3 Granny Smith and 3 honey crisps.
