Sage honey-glazed pork tenderloin with bacon-roasted rutabagas from Deep Run Roots: Stories and Recipes from My Corner of the South (page 472) by Vivian Howard

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

This is another good one. The dish has three components- a pork tenderloin, bacon roasted rutabagas, and a honey vinegar sauce for the pork. I liked all three parts together, but the star was the rutabaga, which can be made without the other two parts if you just need a side dish. I ended up cooking the rutabaga longer than the specified time, following her instructions to keep roasting if it looked too blonde. The crispy bits of rutabaga together with the bacon were so good.
