    I tweaked this a bit. Instead of onions, I used leeks. I also added some shiitake mushrooms. We all really enjoyed this one, and leftovers the next day were just as good. I'm wondering next time, should I just add some cherry tomatoes right into the strata? It really benefits from the acidity, so don't skip them.

    Made this for brunch and it was great! I assembled the day before and baked morning of. Tomatoes were a nice go-with. I used a scant half loaf of Grand Central Como bread. Could cut back a little on the cheese, top was greasy - I sopped up with paper towels.
