Grilled radishes with dates, apples, and radish tops from Six Seasons: A New Way with Vegetables (page 115) by Joshua McFadden and Martha Holmberg

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Another McFadden that you dont think will work, is amazing from the get, and will only get better as it marinates. Substituted arugula for the radish greens and it was a good call.

This was so fresh and delicious. I loved the vibrant colors and different textures. I made it with a bunch of larger French breakfast radishes from my garden. These radishes were slightly larger so I had to roast them a little longer (25-30 min). I followed the rest of the recipe as written and it was a huge hit.

This was pretty good. I had a small bunch of radishes from the farmers market and roasted instead of grilling them. The crunch and sweetness from the apples was really nice and with the vinegar this almost felt like a slaw. I had this as a side for a steak and it was great!

Used a mandoline to slice all veggies/fruits other than parsley and dates 1/16th inch thin; it was delicious
