Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I made 1/2 recipe, weighing the ingredients. I chilled the dough for a few hours. These cookies were fantastic, probably my favorite yet (or equal to the CI thick & chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe). They are less work than the NYT recipe, which I appreciate, and can be made in a single day.
