Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I used 5 strips of bacon instead of 8 since my bacon slices were larger than usual. I cut them first then cooked them because that was easier. I would have liked more bacon, but in the end it was a little salty for my taste anyways. I did brush a little bacon grease on the top while the butter was melting. These rose well and were soft on the inside. Next time I'd probably use less salt and the amount of bacon it calls for.
