Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I forgot to purchase the called for organic powdered sugar so I had to make do with what I had on hand. It definitely was gritty, but the grit was detected once the filling was eaten with the cookies. Also, my filing never reach the creamy consistency called for (perhaps because I was the organic variety) and I had to add a bit more sugar because the filling seemed quite loose. Once sandwiched between the cookies it set up just fine. This made almost twice the amount needed for the cookies...unless you wanted to make double or triple stuffed Oreos. There was definitely a browned butter aroma and taste which didn't quite work for me. If I make these again I will definitely try one of the other flavors.
