    I made half of the recipe with extra carrot that I had on hand and wanted to finish. Instead of using the slow cooker, I baked it in the oven at 350 degrees covered for 30 minutes (stirring once halfway through) and uncovered for 10 more minutes. It was simple to prepare and a tasty side dish.
