    The cookie didn't spread out as much as I would have liked. It was still soft, but more cake like than chewy.

    These were delicious! We made half the batch as just plain oatmeal cookies and added chocolate chips to the second half. We only used 3 oz of granulated sugar but otherwise followed the recipe to a T. I loved the flavor of the cinnamon in the cookies! This is our go-to oatmeal cookie recipe from now on!
