Three dried fruit drinks for winter - apricot, orange and star anise from The Christmas Chronicles: Notes, Stories & 100 Essential Recipes for Midwinter (page 29) by Nigel Slater

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I have made a batch of this for Xmas gifts (for foodie friends). I'll report back on the flavor etc when we open them up, bottled in late September 2020...

These apricots are divine! Delicious in a dessert, used to make a mixed drink (with more cognac, of course!) or nibbled straight out of the jar.
