Dried chickpeas require soaking overnight. Can substitute basil olive oil or flavoured olive oil of your choice for chilli olive oil, canned chickpeas for chickpeas, and the book's "Green pesto" recipe or "Red pesto" recipe for the book's "Hummus" as specified in this recipe.
