Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I cut this in 1/2 using 2 large red skinned potatoes (unpeeled) and the result was a great little pan of what I consider to be true home fries. I did some of the prep ahead as suggested (steaming the potatoes in the microwave & frying the onions) which made getting these & our frittata finished at the same time easier. I will certainly make these again.
