    We didn't use gelatin as we had some vegetarians, and opted to mix the pumpkin mixture right into the whipped cream. This was a crowd favorite at Thanksgiving and so beautiful in a trifle dish.

    I used peparkakor. Overall, the parfait tasted pretty good, with a nice pumpkin spice flavor, and was not too much work, but it didn't wow me.
