After-school banana bread from Magnolia Table, Volume 1: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering (page 69) by Joanna Gaines and Marah Stets

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is my go-to banana bread recipe. When I melt the butter, I take it a step further and brown it to make it extra delicious.

This is a good recipe for a banana bread/cake. Not the best I have made, but easy and repeatable.

Solid recipe. I liked using an 8x8 pan instead of loaf pan. I used raw sugar on top instead of regular white sugar, I think that was a nice touch. I do think I missed spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. In the future I may combine elements of this with my other go-to banana bread recipes.

The flavor of this banana is the best I have made and it stays tender if you go ahead and use 5 bananas. I am keeping this recipe handy!

Seriously the best banana bread! I do a mix of white and brown sugar for the crust topping. Add more sugar to the top than the recipe states, you won't be disappointed!

I love this banana bread - my go to recipe. Makes great muffins as well to maximize the crispy sugar crust
