    Use JoJo’s buttermilk biscuits on top instead of the crescent rolls- yum!

    I thought this was better than I expected it to be. I made half of the recipe and should of made 1/4. I used Jo’s biscuits for the top and it is what set it off for me. The biscuits were so tasty along with all the chicken and the nice thick broth over mash potatoes, makes for the ultimate comfort food meal. I served it with a green salad.

    This called for so much broth. I halved it and it was still pretty runny! To be fair she does say it’s runny but this would be more of a soup if you follow this exactly. Also there are no herbs or seasonings in this. I prefer some thyme or other flavour. It also barely fit in standard 9x13 Pyrex. I love a chicken pot pie and the crescent roll top is a good shortcut but I’ll pass on this recipe next time and go for one without cream of chicken soup and more flavour.
