    Very good, but don't cook the cabbage for as long as directed. After cooking the beans and browning the sausage, brown the onions, add the sausage (cut into 1/2" slices) to the onions, and add the beans in their liquid, and cook for about 15 minutes. then add the cabbage and cook for about 5 minutes.
