Real Swedish meatballs from The ScandiKitchen / The ScandiKitchen Cookbook: Simple, Delicious Scandinavian Dishes for Any Occasion (page 92) by Brontë Aurell

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute breadcrumbs for porridge oats, and soy sauce for Worcestershire sauce.

My husband has been craving a Swedish meatball feast and we won't be visiting again any time soon so I found this recipe and made the feast. We ate them with mashed potatoes and gravy, pickled cucumbers and ligonberry sauce. What a treat! I made these closely following the recipe (with oats/broth for the binder). I used the 1 tbsp scoop to make the meatballs and liked the size but they took longer to cook- maybe 8-9 minutes? They were delicious. I recommend this recipe- and this book, which I adore but doesn't get a lot of love on this site.
