Peanut butter mochi cake from A Common Table: 80 Recipes and Stories from My Shared Cultures (page 253) by Cynthia Chen McTernan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

A big hit! One of the easiest mochi recipes I’ve ever made, it came together so fast and I didn’t need to bust out my mixer. Made for a friend’s birthday and everyone loved it. I used red-skin peanuts (skins removed) for the topping and they didn’t brown, but they were roasted. Turned out great!
