    I made this recipe with the addition of champagne LorAnn oil and some rose extract, similar flavour profile to the author's rose champagne cupcakes but without buying actual champagne! It's the first time I've used the reverse creaming method and I was very pleased with the outcome. The cakes are denser than other cupcakes I've made before but more moist. I will happily use this recipe again for a variety of cupcakes.
