Black & white ginger Florentines from The Perfect Afternoon Tea Recipe Book / Perfect Afternoon Tea Recipe Book: Over 200 Classic Recipes for Every Kind of Traditional Teatime Treat (page 22) by Antony Wild and Carol Pastor

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

These florentines are rather gorgeous & taste superior to the shop-bought ones, which all contain various heavily-processed sugar syrups which drown out the other flavours. Instead of orange peel & white chocolate, I used up some glacé cherries, mixed dried fruit & dark chocolate, which I preferred.
