    Can substitute frozen blueberries for blueberries, and margarine for butter.

    When this cookbook was new back in 1987, this recipe worked perfectly, but some time in the 1990’s, it became frustrating that the streusel topping kept running off the muffins during baking, causing the melted sugar to bake on the muffin tins. They were a pain to scrub! For that reason, I began baking this in a loaf pan at 350 degrees, which worked out well.
