Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I've made these several times as written, but this time decided to try substituting KA self-rising flour for the AP flour and baking powder. I stupidly forgot to reduce or omit the salt as well, so the biscuits were salty but not inedibly so. The biggest problem was that the biscuits spread a lot and were fairly flat (and my flour was fresh). Adjustments clearly need to be made (more flour? adjust additional leavening?) if substituting self-rising flour.

    The only changes I made were to add about 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning to the dough plus a pinch in the topping and bake them at 450 degrees (I had something else in the oven). Quick, easy, and delicious!
