Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This is a staple in our house. Easily made vegan by omitting the pork products (or for those less-strict, using a small amount of smoked sausage, picked out and added to the meat-eaters' bowls). We premix the spices (adding smoked paprika) and, if using soaked beans in the pressure cooker, it is a moment's-notice dinner. Rice cooker and Instant Pot race each other to announcing doneness ... and both hold until we've got a pile of green onions chopped, and the hot sauce on the table. Dinner!
