Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This has become my go to waffle recipe. The cornmeal adds a depth of flavor and balances the maple syrup that is included in the batter. To accommodate a family member who is lactose intolerant, I substitute Kefir for the buttermilk and Melt Organic plant butter for the dairy butter. As a special treat for New Year’s Day breakfast, I used Runamok maple syrup in the batter and to serve over the top. A delicious start to 2026!
