Challah from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery that Revolutionizes Home Baking (page 180) by Jeff Hertzberg and Zoë François

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

  • Eat Your Books

Can substitute vegetable oil for butter, and sesame seeds for poppyseeds.

It's pretty easy and looks impressive. It's good, less rich than the French-style brioche. I used a wildflower honey from Idyllwid. Note: I used 140 g for 1 cup of flour to convert to weight, per what is indicated on their website. https://forums.egullet.org/topic/144705-artisan-bread-in-five-minutes-a-day-zoe-francois-2010%E2%80%93/?do=findComment&comment=2417188
