Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Delicious! I was looking for something simple but outside the norm to make up for our anniversary dinner plans being canceled due to COVID, and since I rarely make mussels, this fit the bill. I added around 1/2 cup of diced smoked sausage to the garlic, and while I’d do that again, I’d also reduce or omit the salt since the sausage added some saltiness. I was afraid this method would result in dried out or overcooked mussels (15min at 500°!), but they were perfect. Also want to try the leeks/Pernod version!
