    I think I made this once with the old stove and it turned out as said - the middle sank as she said it would but I think I remember being disappointed in them. They were a little bit flattish and too dense. I made them again (because I forgot I made them once), this time with thr new oven which does not seem to be calibrated, and even though I set the timer for less time, they were still over baked and this time they were incredibly dry and crumbly. I did not put the chocolate chips in them. I just added more walnuts because I wanted to add a frosting and the frosting is the only saving grace of this recipe so - do not make again!
