Can substitute apricot jam for apple jelly.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Easy to make. I ended up burning the edges of my tart. I put the sliced apples in water to prevent browning and even though I drained it, I think they still may have retained too much water, meaning that the combined sugar-with-water began to melt and spread all over the pan, and even caramelize and burn (I may have had the temperature a bit higher than they suggested.)
