    3 stars. We bought canned fava beans rather than messing about with dried ones; peeling them is too much effort. It’s a straightforward recipe if you do that. This was not bad by any means but it’s also not a standout. I love ful but these particular fava beans weren’t as tasty as they can be (no fault of the author’s, I mean the beans themselves). But the recipe didn’t help them pop much either. I liked it and won’t have any difficulty killing it, but I also don’t think we’ll make it again
