EYB Comments
Dried haricot beans require soaking overnight. Requires at least 2.5 hours to prepare. Can substitute dried cannellini beans or dried flageolet beans for dried haricot beans, Parmesan cheese for pecorino cheese, and store-bought pesto for the book's "Classic pesto".
Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?
Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.
