Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

So good! This is a favorite at our house. Both kids and adults love it. I have too made it with ground turkey to lighten it up a bit. The green onions at the end do give the dish an extra pop!

Delicious, and the kids did love it! My only quibble with the recipe is that it doesn't use the whole can of evaporated milk. I've made this a handful of times and I love how quick it is to pull together. A keeper and we'll continue to repeat.

Yummy comfort food which my family gobbled up. Loved the quick and easy one-pot recipe. It seemed soupy at first but thickened as it sat. Next time I will add some beans and other vegetables such as bell peppers, as my family missed those, but I wanted to try it as written initially. Adults added hot sauce as desired.

This was really great comfort food after a day of gardening on a cold, foggy day. The chips are necessary so don't skip them!

The kids did love this. I made this with gluten free pasta - and it sort of dissappeared into the dish. Next time I will cook the pasta separately and add it at the end.

A 1/2 recipe fed 2 of us dinner with lunch for 1 leftover. Perhaps I needed more pasta, but it took a while to simmer the broth away and then it was very "liquidy" again after adding the milk. Another good simmer (worrying that I was turning the pasta to mush but it was fine) was needed to reduce again. We liked it, it was filling, it made good use of my overflowing pantry (ie why I chose it) and I can see how it would a kid-pleaser.

Big hit with my family, even if I did make it with ground turkey. I went just a tiny bit light on the spices because we have people who like things mild, but I’d go full strength next time. And it was easy to cook on a weeknight, true to what the author said. Definitely making this again.
