    Until now I had no idea crumpets were so easy to make – or so utterly delicious. I thought I liked store-bought crumpets, but after tasting these (and recovering from subsequent raptures) I have revised my opinion and don't know how I will ever stomach a commercial crumpet again! These are just delectable, served simply with butter.
