Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    The ground allspice combined with the butternut squash made for for a sweet flavor profile that I wasn't wild about in a chili, although the salty Mexican crema I added on top helped a little. Ty liked it more than I did. Not bad, but not my favorite vegan chili recipe.
