    These are the best sweet potato gnocchi I have ever made. Instead of using a barbecue or flame for charring the aubergine I cut it into small cubes and roasted them in the oven. I used chard instead of spinach because this was what I had on hand. In combination with the Aleppo chilli butter, which I made right before in the same pan as I tossed the gnocchi in, instead of preparing the butter in another small pan (fewer dirty dishes) these gnocchi were phenomenal. Will definitely be making again!
