    This is my go to recipe for sourdough bread. The bread has a subtle sourdough flavor and an open texture, characteristic of sourdough. The instructions are easy to follow and are detailed enough even for a baker new to sourdough. The loaf stays fresh for a couple of days if wrapped in an air tight bag although looses most of the crunchy texture by the second day. Wrapped in plastic wrap and a freezer bag, additional loaves freeze nicely.
