Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Such a nice surprise! I thought the combination of ingredients was odd, but I tried it anyway and it is very pleasant :) Everything marries well - I used smoked duck magret instead of confit for convenience and I used red kuri squash instead of butternut, but I don't think the recipe was significantly altered by these choices, although I do think it will be better with confit. Will try again :)
