    We used this idea for sliders. With the onion & seasonings called for, I added garlic and instead of using the salsa as a topper, I used it in a slurry with bread crumbs to mix with the meat. The 2 oz patties were moist & flavourful and we liked the use of chili powder + butter on the toasted buns. For condiments etc we used chipotle mayo, tomato red onion relish, Monterey Jack & shredded iceberg lettuce (a fresher/lighter source of crunch vs the tortilla chips called for). Sliders always make a fun little dinner.
