    Surprsingly great combination, would go well with Piave cheese. Pumped it up with a dash of plum vinegar, apple cider vinegar would probably work as well or better

    The apples are grated into the sauce so their tart sweetness just kind of melts in with the tomato sauce flavor...But it's the combination of them with the parmesan cheese that really gets you hooked.
