    #pudcbakeoff Very pretty topping, slightly imperfect because the cake domed a fair amount, so the top wasn't level when inverted. The pineapple arrangement on top is easy to do and maximizes the fruit; I will definitely repeat that. I fit 8 slices on top, chopped 2 in the batter (we didn't notice it in the baked cake). My pan had 3" high sides (she says at least 2"), but 2" might have been fine, though I didn't need to tent the top. Baking time was 41 min, so check early. The cake unmolded cleanly. Flavor was very good. Cake was tender, yet sturdy, a little too much so. We wanted slightly less cake.
