    Lovely to see that Nagi makes this "classic" Australian dip from the '80's. Her ratios are better for today's taste than the ones on the soup packet and those from another cookbook I've tried. The addition of a mayo makes it extra creamy. Since I made this, I've been discussing the dip on SM with ppl from NZ, who claim it as a NZ recipe. Not so, as it turns out. NZ's version of the dip is made with reduced cream and lemon juice. Australia has claim on the use of sour cream. Don't you just love the AU-NZ rivalry!
