    Very good, easy to make. I cooked slightly more bacon and drained off slightly more fat (left maybe 2 Tbsp). Partially pureed with an immersion blender, the soup was quite thick, but I think it's meant to be. I added the optional broccoli (10 oz bag frozen chopped, cooked in microwave) and really liked the additional color and flavor.
