    Scone dough can be shaped ahead of time and frozen; bake directly from freezer.

    Baked from frozen on the lined pan they were frozen on, the scones took nearly 25 min to bake. They stuck slightly to the parchment if lifted with fingers, but were easy to remove with a spatula. With just 1/2 Tbsp water in the glaze, it was almost too runny; I recommend adding water only as needed. There was extra glaze. The scones were tender and cakey with good pumpkin spice flavor; the pumpkin in the glaze really bumped it up.
