    Can substitute canned tomato sauce or canned crushed tomatoes for tomato passata, onions for eschallots, and additional vegetable stock or dry white wine of your choice for Chardonnay wine.

    Loved this! My family devoured this in one sitting much to my horror. The only change I made was the addition of 1/2 tsp of chilli flakes to the sauce. The shells were surprisingly easy to stuff. I recommend using a flat bladed knife. Will make again.
