Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    The green seasoning is delicious (I used some of the leftover in a cheese & tomato omelette) but the pepperpot as a whole was not for me - the cassareep made it very sweet, even though I used the lower quantity and didn't add extra sugar and none of the delicious fresh pungency of the green seasoning survived the long cook. The sauce was rich and complex, but I felt the flavour didn't live up to the promise of the smell of the marinated meat in its initial searing.
