    I love chipotle so I was excited to try this recipe but it was sadly bland and one note. I used home cooked beans and followed the book directions for the amount to sub for a can. I added a little cumin and garlic powder to try and add more flavor and it helped a bit but I still wouldn't repeat it. The sour cream also didn't incorporate fully leaving unappetizing blobs throughout. I recommend choosing another black bean soup recipe.
