Sesame-peanut noodles with crunchy vegetables and garlic-scallion chili oil from The Vegetable Eater: The New Playbook for Cooking Vegetarian (page 175) by Cara Mangini

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

  • Eat Your Books

Can substitute soy sauce for tamari; napa cabbage for red cabbage; cucumbers for mini cucumbers; and soba noodles, spaghetti, or linguine fini for ramen noodles.

Made the recipe as written using ramen noodles. It was enjoyed by family. Will repeat

Only made the sauce for the noodles. Make sure to cook the right amount of noodles. I boiled too much noodles and it made my sauce disappear but the taste was very good.
